This is the personal website of Alice Soprunova, aspiring academic and filmmaker. I write about moving pictures, media, math, and the transsexual question. I am currently applying to PhD programs in film, media, and cinema studies. My primary research interests concern the proliferation and development of the “continuity” epistemology in classical and post-classical editing practices. I am also writing a monograph on transsexual ontologies and futures (“Stop Having Gender, Start Having Sex”). This site exists as a one-stop writing portfolio and blog. I also make movies under the name Alix Simxa.
